Releasing the Tangible, is a look at our mortality, and the priorities we place on things and stuff in our day to day lives. How we can be fooled into mismanaging our lives, our bodies and priorities. And how the battle with the Jones is a futile distraction, because you can not take stuff with you. Just thoughts, feelings and experiences, the everlasting moments we record in our passing. "In" tangible is used to described the Battle of the "Jones".
lyrics
(Instrumental Introduction)
Release from the intangible-
born into this world...
innocence blinded by reality....
The Babe crawls and then walks
and then talks.... School, college
Book- its the old 9 to 5 grind you see-
(Chorus)
Life in the fast lane,
9 to 5 and time to play....
and then one day you're~
Releasing into the intangible....
Losing the "in" tangible,
oh, your life,
your wife
your seed,
you're releasing into
the intangible.....
into the intangible.
Now you are older and can't see,
but there is MORE people,
that are JUST like you!
And NOW you're dying for 16 pills JUST to breath~
Oh DON'T you feel that it's time just to RELEASE,
It's TIME to mourn. oh oh oh
(Chorus)
Life in the FAST lanes over,
Oh oh oh - 9 to 5 and time to play is no more~
Oh then one day
you're releasing "In" Tangible....
oh then one day, you're LOSING
the TANGIBLE! Oh Oh Oh
(Spokenverse: now your Face)
A place we all can run too~
Eventually, eventually,
we all will live forever....
on and on and on and on and on.....
and on and on....
Releasing the "In" tangible
Oh you know you know
Releasing the "In" Tangible.
(Spokenverse: Yes... you think you got a grip
on what's going on; but in reality, you're the
one being gripped.)
Releasing the "In" tangible
Going FROM the Tangible....
oh~ Releasing to the intangible.......
(Spokenverse: No more physical things,
no more items, no more diamond rings...)
You're releasing....
you're releasing.....
the Tangible....
